MLB (2 Picks)

MAKE SURE YOU'RE FOLLOWING THE UNIT INSTRUCTIONS.

8:10pm est: Cardinals ML -110 (3 Units)

Jordan Montgomery has been absolutely dealing since the Month of June, posting a 1.41 ERA across 6 starts. He's also pitching deep, recording outs in the 7th inning in 4 straight starts. He's been better on the road all year, 2.91 Road ERA compared to a 3.61 Home ERA. He's allowed 1 ER or less in 5 of his 8 road starts and 2 ER in another. He also has a career 2.22 ERA vs the CWS. White Sox has a .684 OPS in their last 5 games too.

Dylan Cease starts for the CWS and he's coming off a not so great start. Pitching at Oakland he allowed 3 ER on 6 Hits and 3 Walks across 5.1 IP. Would be a decent start against most teams but not against the worst offense in baseball. The STL Bats are starting to get rolling. They've hit .276 with a .785 OPS in the last 15 days and .290 with an .852 in their last 7. They're averaging over 5 runs per game in the last week.

8:10pm est: Reds ML +105 (3 Units)

Andrew Abbott continues to deal for CIN. He's 4-0 with a 1.21 ERA through the first 6 starts of his career and the Reds themselves are 6-0 when he takes the bump. He's allowed 0 Runs in 3 of 6 starts, 1 ER in 2 of them, then 3 ER on 3 Solo Homeruns in the other. He made his MLB Debut against these Brewers and shut them out while allowing just 1 hit over 6 innings. He's fresh off 7.2 IP of 1 Run ball vs SD. The success he had against MIL isn't surprising considering they're the worst team in the MLB vs LHP. Abbott's also allowed just 1 ER through 3 Road Starts (.51 ERA).

Corbin Burnes starts for MIL and he's had reverse splits since 2021. ERA has been higher at home compared to on the road. This year he has a 4.27 Home ERA across 8 starts. It's been somewhat boom or bust. He's allowed 5ER, 6 ER, as well as 7ER while pitching at home. He made 1 road start at CIN earlier this year, allowing 3 ER on 6IP. If there's any offense capable of busting him open at Home it's the Red Hot Reds. They're averaging over 5.5 Runs per game since June started. They rank 5th in OPS so far in July.

Reds are 8-2 in their last 10 and 23-6 in their last 29 overall. The CIN bullpen is freshly rested after dominating the Nationals in their last series. If Abbott provides length they're ready to lock it down. It's a large reason why the Reds are 6-0 when he starts. The Reds struggles have come in the form of SP.
