James Paxton takes the mound for BOS and he's been very good in all but 1 of his 6 starts. He's allowed 2 ER or less in all but that 1 start and has a 1.38 ERA in 2 June Starts. He faces a struggling Twins lineup that isn't great vs Lefties.
MIN is hitting .218 with a .665 OPS in their last 6 games. They've hit .217 with a .660 OPS through the Month of June thus far. And they rank 28th hitting .220 with a .661 OPS vs Left Handed Pitching. Their best hitter (Polanco) vs LHP is also on the IL.
Pablo Lopez starts for MIN and while he can be very good, he's struggled at Home. He's posted a 5.88 Home ERA through 7 starts in 2023.
