4:10pm est: Reds Moneyline +105 (3 Units)
Right back to the well. The Reds continued their streak last night and their Ace is on the mound today. Hunter Greene went through a bit of a rough patch in May but when he's on, he's as good as any. He's allowed just 4 combined Runs in his last 3 starts. He's better on the road posting a 3.35 Road ERA through 8 starts compared to a 5.18 at Home. Makes sense, Great American Ballpark is one of the more hitter friendly venues. There also isn't a single Astros batter with a previous at bat against him. That always favors the pitcher. The Astros lineup continues to struggle, as they did last night.
Brandon Bielak is heading in the wrong direction. After posting a 3.19 ERA in May he has a 6.17 ERA so far in 2 June Starts. He's pitched 11.2 Innings allowing 8 ER. The thing is he's allowed 19 hits, walked 3, and hit 1 batsman too. BA against of .380 and WHIP of 1.89. He went 5 IP allowing 5 ER @ CLE in his most recent. The Astros were able to quiet a hot Cincinnati offense last night as JP France pitched a good game but they Reds offense is still up and rolling. Reds had more than a few loud outs last night and struck out just 5 times.
4:10pm est: Rockies ML +250 (2 Units)
The Rockies just need a decent outing from a starter to have a chance to win. Freeland allowed 7 Runs to open the series and then Lamet gave up 8 courtesy of the long ball last night. The bullpen has done their job, allowing just 1 Run so far this series through 7.1 Innings of work.
Connor Seabold has pitched phenomenally for the Rockies lately. He has a 2.08 ERA through 3 June Starts. He opened the Month throwing 5.1 Innings of 1 run ball @ AZ, allowed 2 ER over 6IP at home vs SF, then went into Fenway and held the Red Sox to 1 Run on 6 Innings. Offensively the D-Backs rank 4th, Giants 6th, and Red Sox 9th through the Month of June. The Red Sox also have the 2nd highest OPS on the Year when playing at Home. None of those are easy starts. No Atlanta Brave has faced Seabold before either.
Colorado will get a chance to provide some early run support. Bryce Elder's faltered a bit in June. He allowed 4 ER in his first June Start and then 5 ER in his most recent. Those came against the Mets and the Nationals, who rank 25 and 27th offensively in June.
The Rockies were riding a 3 game win streak before they dropped their last 3. 2 of those 3 came at Fenway. The Braves have also been better on the road. They're 22-15 at home and 22-11 on the road. The Rockies top end of the bullpen is ready to rock too after not getting much action in the last two blowouts. At +250, this is worth a play.
