Baltimore came out and punched everyone's Superbowl favorite in the mouth last week. Their defense has been incredible their last couple games and their pass rush has a lot to do with it. They're 1st in the league in sacks per game and they disrupted SF QB Brock Purdy all game leading to his career high 4 interceptions. They've also done it blitzing at a below average rate. Tua's numbers are very good against blitzing teams thanks in part to the speed on their offense. Baltimore has the luxury of keeping extra guys in coverage and still applying pressure. Miami's also not as fast as usual today.
The Dolphins will be without starting WR Jaylen Waddle, starting RB Raheem Mostert, and starting G Robert Hunt. Waddle is a significant blow. When teams key in on Tyreek Hill it leaves other WR's 1 on 1. Jaylen Waddle is as good as any at taking the top off the defense. Their passing game is less explosive without both WR's healthy. Mostert is another explosive HR threat they won't have available. Miami had both of those guys last week and struggled against a very good Cowboys defense. That game was also at Home, now they they travel on the road to Baltimore where the weather's a big colder than they're accustomed to. A Win here also secures the #1 overall seed in the AFC. That gives them a Bye Week and Home Field advantage throughout the playoffs. That stadium will be rocking today.
Miami's also faced 3 contenders on the road this year and came up short every time. Going back; 14-21 L @ KC, 17-31 L @ PHI, 20-48 L @ BUF. This is their hardest road game yet and they're doing it shorthanded.
Offensively Baltimore's proven they can score on everyone. They're even better at Home, scoring 31+ in 5 straight Home Games. Miami's defense just had it's first good day a5

Denver's just an absolute Mess right now. They've benched Russell Wilson just to keep him from getting injured, so they won't be on the hook for more Guaranteed $$$. They tried to force him to remove the injury clause, but he refused. He's been benched as a result and now the NFLPA is pursuing legal action because Denver violated the CBA. It's a terrible look for Sean Payton and the entire Broncos organization. Wilson has the 7th highest QBR in the NFL this season and clearly gives the Broncos a better chance to win than Jarrett Stidham. Russ is highly regarded in that locker room both as a player and leader and Broncos players have been vocal about that since his benching. They're still alive in the playoff race to make matters even worse. It's very unlikely his Benching is going over too well and it's hard to see Denver putting their best foot forward today.
The Chargers on the other hand get a chance to officially knock a divisional rival out of the playoffs. The removal of Brandon Staley as HC has revitalized this team and had them playing harder than ever. They nearly beat a Buffalo Bills team last week that had been playing very well up to that point. The Bills needed a go-ahead FG on their final drive to win by 2.
Jarrett Stidham was also announced as the starter on Wednesday. He's without their clear #1 WR Cortland Sutton today, WR Jerry Jeudy didn't practice with an illness all week but is expected to play, and WR Marvin Mims logged 1 limited practice. He may have received the starters reps in preparation for this game, but he didn’t have many of the 1's to practice with. The Broncos offense struggled enough as it was, and offensive line play had a lot to do with it. Russ was one of the most sacked QB's in the league and he's made a living escaping pressure through his career. The LAC rank 6th in sacks per game. They're without Joey Bosa today but that's nothing new. He's only played in 8 games this season.
