Williams has made at least 2 Threes in 6 of his last 7 games and 11 of his 15 games played this year. He's attempted at least 5 3's in each of his last 7 games and is shooting 41.5% from deep on the season. The strength of Maryland's defense is it's interior and they're one of the best in the country at it. Their 3-PT defense however is below average. They rank 219th in 3-PT % allowed, 182nd in Open 3 Rate, 102nd in PPP at Catch & Shoot 3-PT, and 156th in PPP off the dribble 3-PT. Michigan ranks 30th in 3-PT Rate on the season so they'll have no issue settling from deep. The Wolverines are also without point guard Dug McDaniel. The Sophomore was just suspended for their next 6 road games as he battles academic eligibility. That's going to negatively effect the Wolverines offense as a whole but that's a lot of volume missing. He's averaging 13.9 shots and 5.9 3's attempted per game.
