Kent State is flat out terrible. They rank dead last out of 133 FBS programs averaging just 11.1 points per game. They've played 2 Home games against FBS opponents and scored a combined 9 points. Their defense also ranks 123rd allowing 35.6 points per game. They haven't held an FBS team to less than 23 points all season.
Bowling Green also has one of the stronger defenses in the MAC conference, holding teams to just 325.2 yards per game (3rd). Going back they've allowed 21, 14, and 14 while scoring 24, 41, and 24. Kent State is easily the worst team they'll face this season. Akron is the only other terrible MAC defense that Bowling Green has faced and that's when they threw up a 41 spot. Akron's also statistically better than Kent State in every major category.
