The talent disparity is quite alarming in this one. TXA&M CC allows 72.9 points per game (246th) and that’s playing in the Southland Conference… aka nobodies. The two games they played against actual competition, Arizona hung up 99 on them and Oklahoma State scored 81. Ok St averages just 68.5 ppg (250th). Alabama on the other hand averages 82.2 points per game and is led by Brandon Miller at 19.6. He’s also doing that in the SEC, which he also leads in scoring. He scored 23 in a 19 point win over Texas A&M in their last game and was uncharacteristically inconsistent. 5-20 FG and 4-14 from deep. Yet went 9-10 from the FT line. 3 games in 3 days has something to do with the poor shooting but the stud forward still found ways to score. He isn’t one for back-to-back poor shooting performances either, with fresh legs and massively inferior competition, he’s in line for an overly efficient day. The only worry is that this gets too out of hand too fast but Corpus Christie is still an elite shooting team, averaging 80.2 points per game on 45.5% from the field and 36.5% from deep. They’re also the 5th best FT team in the nation knocking them down at a 78.9% clip. They should hang around enough to let the SEC’s leading scorer go over this prop.
