The Hurricanes are going with G Pyotr Kochetkov tonight after G Fredrik Anderson fell apart in Games 1 and 2. Anderson faced only 20 shots in Game 1 and 16 in Game 2, but let up nine goals, having a .750 SV%. I'm not sure any team could win with their goalie performing that badly, especially when the defense had only let up 18 shots per game on average. Expect a different team tonight than we saw in the first two games. Limiting a team to 20 or fewer shots will yield results, especially from a team as talented as the Hurricanes. The Panthers will also be without RW Sam Reinhart, who got injured in Game 2. This is a major blow and something the Hurricanes will capitalize on in a must-win game.
