Cecconi ran into a hot Padres lineup at Home his last time out and struggled but still managed 4 strikeouts. He was very sharp in his first two starts of the year, throwing a combined 11 strikeouts. Each of his first two starts came on the road as will be the case today. The Reds have the 6th most strikeouts in MLB so far this season. They're hitting a league worst .150 over the last week and .173 over the last 15 days. The D-Backs bullpen has been terrible this season and Cecconi's leash won't be as tight because of it.
