The tough luck continued for Montero. He recorded 2 Hard Hit Balls yesterday, ripping a single in his first at bat but hit an absolute missile at the 2nd baseman in his 3rd. His xBA is now at .287 compared to his actual BA of .167. He continues to take good at bats and hit the ball hard. He has yet to hit an extra base hit this season and he's got plenty of power to do so. There was nice weather at Coors yesterday but it's supposed to be 40° with over 35 MPH winds blowing in from left field. Tough day for a right hander to pull one out.
