7:05PM EST: Corbin Burnes Over 18.5 Outs +150 (2 Units)
Good + Odds on the former Cy Young Winner. He's labored a bit in his 2 most recent starts, but they came against a red-hot Brewers offense and a Royals lineup he had faced just a couple weeks prior. That vintage Burnes performance came 3 starts back in Boston allowing 1 run on 2 hits over 7IP. The A's lineup is batting a league worst .180 over the last week. The were very aggressive last night swinging early in the count against NYY starter Nestor Cortes and found some success. Cortes gave completed 7 innings (21 outs) on just 94 pitches, allowing 3 runs. They should bring a similar approach against Burnes, another heavy strike thrower. Cortes has a 1.25 BB/9 after not walking a single batter against Oakland while Burnes goes into this start at 1.53. Both are exceptional marks and would rank top 5 in each of the last 3 seasons. Burnes doesn't go many starts in a row without shutting down a lineup and this is a good spot for it.
