Philly gets a major offensive boost with the return of TE Dallas Goedert. He was injured against Dallas during their first meeting back on November 5th and has missed each of the Eagles past 3 games. It's no coincidence that the Eagles offense has looked off ever since he went down. He's one of the best all-around tight ends in the NFL today. Good Route Runner, Good Hands, and a Good Blocker. His versatility puts a lot of stress on an opposing defense. He's still Philly's 3rd leading receiver despite the 3-game absence. Hard to replace a guy like Goedert and the Eagle's offense has certainly felt it.
Fortunately for Philly, he's back this week and was a full participant all week long. He's gone over this yardage total in 5 straight games, including the game against Dallas when he got hurt. He's also eclipsed this in 2 straight and 4 of the last 5 meetings against Dallas. That includes time spent as TE2 behind Zack Ertz. The opposing starting TE has gone over this yardage in 7 of the Cowboys 12 games this season as well. Daniel Bellinger, the NYG back-up TE, landed on 34 when he filled in for starter Darren Waller. The Cowboys have also played one of the easiest schedules this season. Geno Smith and Seattle just threw all over this Dallas defense and with Goedert back Philly should too.
