This one’s all in the Celtics injury report. Center Robert Williams has been ruled out for this game. He’s one of the league’s premier rim defenders and will be sorely missed inside. Knicks Center Mitchell Robinson isn’t exactly a scoring threat; he averages just 7.5 points per game, but he is on the floor for an average of 27 minutes. He’s scored 10 or more points in 4 of his last 5 games too. What he does to very well is crash the offensive glass. His 4.2 offensive rebounds per game rank third in the NBA. Without Williams defending inside he should get quite a few put back opportunities and he’s very efficient when he does “shoot” (70.7 FG %). He should get quite a few chances to go over this.
