The Pick: Leonard Fournette Under 37.5 rushing yards.
This is Fournette’s first game back from a hip injury that knocked him out of a week 10 game vs Seattle. He only missed a game and a half since there was a bye week after the Seattle game. But in his absence, rookie Rachaad White has earned a share of the workload. He’s proven more explosive in the running game and a more reliable receiver. White went over 100 scrimmage yards against Seattle and then again vs Cleveland. Fournette’s also failed to go over 37.5 rushing yards in 2 of his last 3 games vs New Orleans. The outlier came earlier this season when he averaged just 2.7 yards per carry but saw 24 rushing attempts. That was week 2 of the season though and the rookie White got just 2 carries. It’s been a struggle all year for Lenny, averaging just 3.4 yards per carry on the season. White’s had the higher YPC in the last 4 games they’ve played together too. TB Head Coach Todd Bowles claims he will ride the hot hand moving forward, that hot hand is White. With limited touches, Fournette goes under his rushing prop.
