CIN's Abbot went 6 shutout in his Debut at home vs MIL but got blasted for 6 ER across 4.1 IP in the following @ MIL. His most recent start vs MIL saw him allow 2 ER on 6 IP. Burns has completed 6IP in all 3 starts vs CIN, allowing 3 ER, 2 ER, and 0ER. Each pitcher made back to back starts against each other, 1 start against another team, and are back to face each other again.
That's extremely beneficial to the offenses in this case. Abbot allowed 2 HR in each of his last two starts vs MIL and he really struggled @ MIL last time. Burns on the other hand has had a bit of success vs CIN but this is an extremely deep and talented lineup. Hard to hold down that lineup 3 times in one month.
