Logan Webb has been phenomenal. 1.3 ERA through 4 May Starts without allowing more than 2ER in either. 2 of those starts came on the road as well. He has a 1.89 career ERA in 3 starts vs MIL and has made 1 start @ MIL allowing just 1 ER. Offensively the Brewers have been terrible. Hitting .201 in their last 6 games and going back further, .209 in their last 15.
Corbin Burnes starts for MIL and he’s struggled in his 2 most recent starts. He gave up 5 ER at home vs Houston, surrendering 4 Homeruns. Then he had a quality start vs the Cardinals but allowed 3 ER on 8 hits and 1 walk in 6IP. He has a 3.91 ERA through the Month of May and he’s statistically worse at home. He has a career 3.58 Home ERA compared to a sub 3 Road ERA.
7:15pm est: D-Backs ML +115 (3 Units)
Garret Whitlock starts for Boston. He’s been a bullpen guy but made 9 starts last season pitching to a 4.15 ERA. He’s made 3 starts in 2023 and currently has a 6.19 ERA. His Road ERA was .50 points higher in 2022 and he’s off to a rough start in 2023. He’s allowed 5 ER in both of his road starts, last week was @ the Ice Cold Milwaukee Brewers too. D-Backs are the 6th ranked home offense hitting .281 with a .791 OPS.
Zach Davies is making his 3rd start of 2023. He had a 4.09 ERA for Arizona in 27 starts last year but excelled at home. Posting a 3.16 ERA at Chase Field. He was sharp in his first start against the Dodgers but then he faced them again and they got to him. He gets a Red Sox lineup that’s struggled. They rank 28th offensively over the last week despite scoring 7 runs yesterday. 5 of which came against the D-Backs worst start who’s sure to get demoted soon enough. Even over the last 15 days the Sox rank 23rd.
