Anthony Rizzo is the next best hitting .250 with an .868 OPS. Everyone else in today's lineup is hitting .227 or lower. Yanks are hitting just .218 as a team in their last 5 games. As great as Gerrit Cole's been, it's not so great in May, posting a 3.68 ERA through 4 starts. He did just shutout Toronto but he gave up 7 Hits and walked 2 in 6IP. Blue Jays couldn't cash in. Going back, he allowed 2 ER in 5 IP vs TB, 5 ER in 5 IP vs TB, 2 ER in 6 IP vs CLE. He pitched into the 7th inning in 4 of his 5 April starts and hasn't done it once in May. He's been laboring. .266 BA against and a 1.55 WHIP compared to a .172 BA against and a .84 WHIP in April.
Orioles have a very good offense and they're hot. They've scored 5 or more in 6 of their last 7 games and rank 3rd in baseball over the last week with a team OPS of .829. Despite being the 20th ranked offense in 2022 Gerrit Cole had a 4.29 ERA vs BAL last year (3 Starts). He gave up 2 Runs, 5 Runs, then 4 Runs to BAL last year.
