12:10PM EST: Rockies ML +145 (3 Units) 1:05PM EST: NYY/BAL Over 9 (4 Units) We like these offenses to break through following 3 lower scoring affairs between them. Yankees start LHP Carlos Rodon. He's been strong in his 2 most recent outings but he's labored quite a bit on the road this season. In 4 road starts and just 19.2 IP he has a 3.2 ERA compared to a 1.38 Home ERA. His opponent BA is .250 and WHIP 1.47. He's fortunate his road ERA isn't a bit higher. He's a Fly-Ball pitcher with a .44 GO/AO ratio and it's a hitters day at Camden Yards. It will be 90° + for the entirety of this game with 10 MPH winds blowing out to right center. The extreme Heat this early in the year's also taxing on a starter and will cause fatigue earlier than usual. The Orioles lead the league in Homeruns and AB per HR with the Yankees trailing right behind them. Baltimore's also batting .270 with a .792 OPS (3rd) against Lefties this season.
Kyle Bradish returns from injury to make his 2024 debut. The Yankees roster has a .293 BA and .370 wOBA against him in 48 career plate appearances. The xBA is .319, xSLG 480, and xwOBA is .393. Bradish made 3 minor league rehab starts, 1 at AA and 2 at AAA. He pitched 3 shutout in his first start at AA. In 2 AAA starts he posted a 5.4 ERA with a .324 opponent BA and 1.8 WHIP. He was better in his final start, allowing 1 run on 5 hits across 5IP. His final start came against the 2nd worst AAA offense though. He's worked up to 77 pitches thus far and likely won't go much further than that in his 2024 debut. The Orioles bullpen will need to get some outs and it's a bullpen that's been struggling a bit. Every Orioles reliever has pitched in this Yankees series outside of their close Craig Kimbrel. Kimbrel blew a save in each of his last 2 appearances though. The Yankees offense came into this series Red-Hot before cooling off. They've fallen victim to some tough luck though. They were shutout game 1 with an xBA of .255, recorded 13 Hard-Hit balls, and struck out just 3 times. They had an xBA of .259 and a 46.4% Hard-Hit rate when they scored 2 runs in game 2. Then had their worst day yesterday against Corbin Burnes and still won because that's baseball. They've taken quality at bats this entire series and they also get Alex Verdugo back off the paternity list today. He's a big get back and strong left handed bat who recorded 13 total bases in his last 4 games.
