7:10PM EST: Royals ML +105 (3 Units).

Two very good starters on the mound today in Corbin Burnes and Cole Ragans. Burnes turned in a decent start against Milwaukee his last time out while Ragans blanked the Mets. These two pitched against one another in Baltimore on April 3rd. Burnes allowed 2 runs on 9 hits over 5.2 IP. Cole Ragans didn't allow a run and surrendered just 1 hit over 6.1 IP. The O's have been much weaker against Lefties with a .717 OPS compared to .783 vs Righties. Our left-handed AL ROTY pick Colton Cowser has a lot to do with that. He's been on a tear to start the season and is better against RHP. He's starting to come back down to earth regardless. The Royals bats continued to produce at Home last night and when Baltimore appeared to get back into the game the bats showed up to put them away. KC is playing very good baseball with their Ace on the mound. 8:10PM EST: Rockies ML +160 (4 Units). Luis Castillo starts for Seattle, he's had a rough go to start the season. He's 0-4 with a 5.82 ERA. Those struggles won't last forever and he's fresh off a quality start at home against the Cubs. He has a career 3.16 ERA at Home and 4.08 ERA on the road despite spending most of his career pitching for the Reds in hitter friendly Great American Ballpark. He's made 2 career starts at Coors Field, getting blasted for a combined 12 runs across 9.1IP. He has a career 7.59 ERA in 4 career starts against Colorado because of it. Castillo's average 4-Seamer was 97.1 MPH in 2022 and he's down at 95.3 this season which is a full point lower than last year’s. He has an xBA of .289 against his fastball, .550 against his Sinker, and .438 vs his changeup. His only reliable pitch has been his Slider but that's where Coors field comes into play. The high altitude negatively affects spin rates and as a result pitches don't move as much. Fastballs don't tail as much; breaking balls down break so much. Overall, everything's a little flatter and he's struggled at Coors even at his best. On the season he has a .337 opponent BA and 1.66 WHIP. Colorado's offense can disappear on the road, but they always hit at Home, even during their worst seasons. They rank 5th in OPS at Home this season.

Dakota Hudson starts for Colorado and he really has pitched quite well for the Rockies. He got burned by a rough first inning against Toronto his last time out. He lost the zone after an infield single and another grounder that squeaked through a hole. Then Dalton Varsho hit a grand slam to cap off a 5 run first. Hudson proceeded to throw 5 shutout innings allowing just 2 hits after that though. He didn't allow an earned run in his first start of the season and threw a quality start at Home in his 2nd. 2 of the 3 runs he allowed that day were scored on lazy ground balls too. The life of a sinker baller that pitches to contact sometimes. The overwhelming majority of Hudson's time on the mound has been good. Not going to be an easy day to leave the park either with sub 40° temps and light winds blowing in. Seattle will need to chain hits together and as a contact sinkerball pitcher the Double Plays are always there. Seattle's 2-4 on the road this season
