1:35PM EST: MIL/BAL Over 8 (5 Units).
Brewers SP Colin Rea has a 1.64 ERA through 2 starts. Similar to yesterday's MIL starter DL Hall he's been incredibly lucky. He has an xERA of 6.49 and an xBA of .368 (5th worst). He faced the same Ice Cold Mets offense and bad Mariners offense same as Hall did. He has a .56 GO/AO ratio, a 45% Hard Hit Rate, and just a 10.6 Strikeout %. Meaning he's recording a lot of outs on Hard Hit balls in the Air. That's a recipe for disaster and it's another good hitters day at the park. 75° Weather with 16MPH Winds blowing out to Center Field. The Orioles offense struggled against a potential Cy Young candidate in Freddy Peralta in the first game of this series but have scored 5, 9, 7, and 7 runs in 4 of their last 5 games. They scored all 5 of their runs on Hall yesterday but couldn't break through on the Brewers Bullpen. It's a Bullpen that's used all of it's best arms against Baltimore in this series now.
Baltimore's starting the long time Brewer Corbin Burns and he's one of the best in baseball when he's on. This is his first season in Baltimore after spending his first 6 in Milwaukee. The Brewers might not have many live at bats against him but there's a ton of familiarity there. The Brewers offense is also stupid hot at the moment. Over the last week they've scored 11, 11, 7, 9, 8 and 12. They've scored 9 runs on the Baltimore bullpen in the first 2 games of this series too. Burns still surrendered 4 or more runs in 10 of his 32 starts (3.23 ERA) last season.
