MLB

3 Picks.

6:40PM: SF/BAL F5 Under 4 -120 (2 Units)

SF SP Blake Snell has a 1.76 ERA in 10 starts since the All-Star Break. He does this every year with a career 2.38 ERA in the 2nd half of the season. He's allowed 2 runs or less in 12 of his last 13 starts and the outlier was 3. BAL has a .677 OPS in September. BAL SP Albert Suarez has a 2.43 ERA in his last 7 starts. He had 1 bad outing in there but has allowed just 3 runs in the first 5 innings in 6 of those 7 games combined. SF scored 3 runs yesterday after being shutout in 3 straight. They're struggling.

8:40PM EST: AZ/COL Over 11.5 (3 Units).

AZ SP Jordan Montgomery goes back into the rotation following the Ryne Nelson injury. Been a rough year for a guy who was pivotal to the Rangers World Series run last year. He has a 6.25 ERA on the season and a 6.44 ERA as a starter. Tough spot to come back, going into Coors Field for the first time in his career. He did make a start against Colorado at Home a Month Ago, allowing 3 ER on 6 IP. Montgomery gave up 6 ER on 10 hits and 1 walk across 5.2 IP to the Marlins of all teams in his most recent road start. His last road relief appearance saw him surrender 4 runs on 3 IP. COL ranks 4th in OPS at Home.

COL SP Ryan Feltner has a 6.25 ERA at Home. Baltimore tagged him for 5 runs on 4.2 IP in his most recent start at Coors. The current AZ roster has a .293 career BA against Feltner and put up 5 runs in his lone start against them this year. Arizona scored just 2 runs last night but going back they've scored 2, 11, 8, 1, 14, 6, 12, and 5 runs. They're red hot and the Rockies good relievers will be sidelines after yesterday's performance.

9:40PM: Mariners ML +105 (2 Units).

NYY SP Luis Gil had been laboring quite a bit before a brief IL stint. He's made 2 starts since coming off the IL and allowed 1 run on 5 hits and 2 walks across 5 IP at Home vs KC his last time out. Length's been an issue for him, completing 6 innings just once in his last 7 starts. The Mariners rank 2nd in OPS (.804) in September and 3rd (.810) over the last week. SEA SP Bryan Woo has a 1.66 ERA in 8 Home Starts. He's allowed 3 Runs or less in 17 of his 19 starts and 1 ER or less in 10. The NYY rank 20th in OPS (.659) in September and 20th (.648) over the last week. Seattle has the better bullpen and it's fresh after a day off yesterday.
