3 Picks (9 Units)
1:10PM EST: Angels ML +150 (3 Units).
LP: S. Manaea (NYM)
Bullpen day for the Angels so the Mets likely plate a few but the Angels offense has been hot. They've 3rd in both BA and OPS since the All Star Break and averaging 5.8 runs per game over their last 10. NYM SP Sean Manaea is making his 3rd start of the season. He's yet to complete more than 4 innings or throw 70 pitches. He likely goes a little further today, but he shouldn't provide much length. Mets bullpen is heavily taxed and their worst arms will be forced to follow Manaea.
3:10PM EST: Rockies ML +160 (3 Units).
LP: A. Pallante (STL).
Pallante's been hammered for 5 and 7 runs in his last 2 starts. He has a 4.45 road ERA and this will be his first career start at Coors Field. Colorado is first in BA and 2nd in OPS since the Break. They're finally getting offensive production from Tovar, Doyle, and McMahon. With Moniak, Freeman, Beck, and Goodman all continuing to perform it's a Rockies offense than can throw up crooked numbers at Home again.
7:07PM EST: NYY/TOR Over 8 (3 Units).
LP: M. Fried (NYY) / C. Bassitt (TOR).
Max Fried has a 6.43 ERA in 3 July starts allowing at least 3 runs in each. That includes 4 ER on 6 IP in Toronto on July 1st. Devin Williams has pitched 3 of the last 4 days and Luke Weaver threw 30 pitches last night. Tough spot for a closing situation for NY. TOR SP Chris Bassitt has pitched fine, but he did get hit hard his last time out. He allowed 10 hits to SF on 6.1 IP but escaped without allowing a run. The Yankees just have his number. In 128 career plate appearances the Yankees have a .304 BA and .384 wOBA. in 2 starts vs NYY Bassitt allowed 4 ER on 5.2 IP @ NY on April 27th and 3 ER on 5.2 IP at Home July 3rd. Toronto also in a tough spot on the back end with closer Jeff Hoffman pitching 4 of the last 5 days.
