3 Picks. 6:05PM EST: Dodgers ML +130 (3 Units). LA is rolling out their bullpen as they look to avoid the sweep. Their starting rotation's been absolutely decimated by injury. Their bullpen ranks 3rd with a 3.3 ERA this season and it's fresh from a day off on Monday. Nobody has pitched more than once over the last 3 days. The Philly batters will likely face a different pitcher every time they step into the Box. Aaron Nola starts for Philly, and he's allowed 3 Runs or more in 4 of his last 5 starts. Last season LA put up 4 and 6 runs against him too. LAs scored just 4 runs going 4-22 with RISP, leaving 18 on base. 2nd best offense in baseball is bound to break through. 6:35PM EST: A's ML +190 (4 Units).
OAK SP Luis Medina has allowed 1 run exactly in 3 of his last 4 starts. Boston's offense erupted for 12 runs in the first game of this series (11 of which came in the 1st and 2nd inning of that game) but have scored just 14 runs combined in their 4 previous. They scored 2 yesterday and 3 in the game prior to this series. He made 2 starts against Boston last year, allowing 4 ER over 11.2 (3.09 ERA).
BOS SP Tanner Houck hasn't been nearly as sharp as he was to start the season. He has a 3.23 ERA at Home compared to a 1.91 road ERA as is. He posted a 4.85 ERA in the Month of June and has surrendered 11 runs over his last 2 starts combined (7.2 IP). He lasted just 3.1 innings in NY his last time out and surrendered 8 runs (7ER) over 4.1 IP at Home vs SD the start prior. The A's trail only Arizona in runs per game in the Month of July. They're 4th in OPS and have scored 5 or more runs in 6 of their 8 July Games. They're 5-3 in July.
9:40PM: D-Backs ML +100 (2 Units).
ATL SP Max Fried struggled in his first July start, allowing 5 runs on 11 hits against Philly. He faced Arizona at Home earlier this season and gave up 8 runs (7ER) on 10 hits and 1 walk over just 4.1 IP. The Diamondbacks offense is red hot, averaging 7 runs per game in July and they're 5th in OPS vs LHP this season. ARI SP Brandon Pfaadt has 3.47 ERA at Home and has allowed 3ER or less in 5 of his last 6 Home Starts. He's allowed 1ER or less in 3 of his last 4 starts overall. He's also thrown just 301 pitches over his last 4 starts, leaving his arm in great shape.
