3 Picks
6:35PM EST: Orioles ML +110 (3 Units).
Two very good starters for both teams in this one but Baltimore's 2nd in OPS vs LHP. They should be able to give Fried a hard time. They also have an .840 OPS over the last week and have scored 5 or more runs in 5 straight games. The Braves have a .535 OPs over the last week and have scored just 14 combined runs over their last 5. the Orioles have the better bullpen and it's been lights out of late.
7:40PM EST: Rockies ML +165 First 5 Innings (3 Units).
Colorado failed to score a run early yesterday, but they had more hits, the same amount of walks, and more hard-hit balls through the first 5 innings against Minnesota yesterday. Today's Twins starter Louie Varland got demoted to Triple A after posting a 9.18 ERA in 4 MLB starts to start the season. He has a 5.31 ERA in 8 Triple A starts this year and just surrendered 6 runs on 7 hits and 4 walks over 3IP his last time out. Rockies starter Cal Quantrill is having a stellar season, allowing 2 runs of less in 8 of his last 9 starts in the states. His most recent outing a 5-inning shutout at St. Louis.
8:10PM EST: NYY/KC Over 9.5 (3 Units).
This total looks high given the starters ERA, but both got roughed up their last time out. Stroman's been among the luckiest hard-hit pitchers this season and that gave way his last time out. Singer couldn't get out of the 4th inning his last time out and the Royals bullpen is 20th in ERA this season but it's a bullpen that's really struggling of late. The Yankees bullpen has also been taxed heavily over the last week.
