He's a frontline start that finished 2023 with a 3.66 ERA and 2022 with a 3.75, making 32 starts each year. The Red Sox offense just got shut down by Chris Paddack yesterday. He threw 6 shutout innings allowing just 2 hits. He had a 5.88 ERA, .336 opponent BA, and 1.69 whip going into that game. In 38 career Plate Appearances against Lopez the Red Sox roster has a .199 BA, .256 wOBA, .176 xBA, .275 xSLG, and .221 xwOBA. The Twins also have one of the best bullpens in baseball and with a day off on Thursday they're good to go.
