3:10PM EST: Rockies ML +185 (3 Units).
Ranger Suarez has the 2nd best ERA in baseball and he'll likely perform well today. Still pitching in the MLB and it's incredibly difficult to maintain that level of dominance. He's made just 1 career start at Coors Field and it was last year. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits and 1 walk over just 4IP. Colorado's bats have been much better against Lefties of late, especially with Kris Bryant back and the call up of Hunter Goodman. Cal Quantril can just match Suarez though. He has a 1.4 ERA through 4 May Starts and has allowed just 1 run in each of his last 2 Home starts. If you exclude his Mexico City start because of how stupidly hitter friendly it is, He's been one of the best pitchers in baseball for the last Month and a Half. The Rockies bullpen hasn't been pitching too well but the guys who have got the night of yesterday. Colorado plays well at Home and their bats have been good. They scored 4 runs yesterday but had plenty of opportunities, going 3 for 13 with RISP.
4:07PM EST: CLE/LAA Over 8 (2 Units).
Ben Lively starts for Cleveland and he's pitching well but his advanced metrics suggest regression. He's been hit hard and giving up his fair share of baserunners but he's found ways to limit the damage. He's a heavy fly ball pitcher and Angel Stadium is the 5th most HR friendly ballpark over the last 3 seasons. His road ERA is 4.04 compared to 1.5 at Home. The Angels are swinging it well with a .790 OPS over the last week and .773 OPS over the last 15 days. Some winds blowing straight out too. Reid Detmers starts for the Angels and it's hard to find anyone pitching worse. He has a 10.53 ERA through 4 May starts and has allowed at least 5 runs in 5 straight. The Guardians have a respectable .760 OPS over the last week but they're also the 2nd best offense in baseball against Lefties with an .802 OPS. Detmers is also a fly ball and his ERA is a 6.43 at Home compared to 5.13 on the road.
