Each of the first 2 games of this series has gone Under with Arizona scoring just 2 runs in each game. Over the last 3.5 Months the Diamondbacks have gone 3 straight games without scoring at least 5 runs just once. They lead the MLB in OPS on the season and the Month of September. They went 1 for 11 with RISP last night so it's not like they didn't have chances. Like them to break out today. COL SP Austin Gomber has been decent at Home but this is his 4th start of the year against Arizona. The Diamondbacks are 2nd in OPS vs LHP now and would still be first if not for the Ketel Marte and Christian Walker injuries. Both of them are healthy and in today's lineup. The Rockies league worst bullpen has also pitched well in each of the first 2 games of this series which is a bit of an anomaly.
AZ SP Eduardo Rodriguez has a 5.5 ERA in 7 starts this year. He just turned in his best start, allowing 2 ER on 5 IP but he still let up 5 hits, 3 walks, and 1 IBB. He just escaped damage. He allowed 5 runs on 4 IP in the start prior at Houston and 3 runs on 4 IP at Home vs the Dodgers the start before that. He's only made 1 Career start at Coors Field and allowed 3 runs on 9 hits and 3 walks across 5 IP. He also gave up 3 runs on 5 IP against these Rockies at Home last Month.
