He has a 2.75 ERA in August, a .179 opponent BA, and .73 WHIP. He trusts his stuff and is a heavy strike thrower, walking just 3 batters over 26.1 IP this year. Being his 6th career start, nobody on Arizona has faced him before. The Diamondbacks came back to win down 4-3 in the 9th as COL Closer Victor Vodnik blew his first save after 8 straight successful tries.
