Zac Gallen's given up a couple runs in both of his post-season starts but he faced a couple ice cold offenses. Going into Philly during the post-season is absolute madness and he's struggled on the road this year. Through 18 regular season road starts he posted a 4.42 ERA. Philly is currently the #1 ranked offense this post-season with an .892 OPS.
The team that trails them is the Arizona Diamondbacks at .877. Arizona hasn't scored less than 4 runs in a playoff game this year. Wheeler has made a pair of respectable starts as well but again, offenses that were cold. He also had a 4.13 ERA over 14 Home starts this season.
This new playoff format and the extended days off for the regular season's top teams is having an impact. The Braves, Dodgers, and Orioles had a relentless lineup all season long but all went quiet in the post-season. Both of these pitchers are quite good but they benefited from that. Going to be much more of a grind to get outs and they won't get bailed out by the bullpen. In a best of 7 your frontline starters need to get outs.
