Over/Under 8.5
Julio Urias starts for the Dodgers. He's not as sharp this season, pitching to a 3.61 ERA through 9 starts. More importantly, he has a 6.1 ERA on the road. Cards are the hottest offense in baseball hitting .293 with an OPS of .900 over the last week. They also have one of the strongest lineups vs Lefties. They don't rank too high this year but that's starting to change as their best right handed bats start to wake up. They were the #1 offense vs Lefties last year and this years lineup is better.
Adam Wainwright starts for the Cardinals. This is just his 3rd MLB start of the year following an injury but he did make 3 starts in the Minors prior. He pitched to a 3.71 ERA last year and is still very capable despite a couple tough first starts. Just takes a 41 year old a little longer to stretch the arm out. He has a career 2.88 ERA when pitching at home and had a 2.98 home ERA last year. Dodgers offense ranks 18th over the last week and they hit just .207 away from home this year. Cards bullpen ranks 9th compared to Dodgers 20th too.
Bonus Free Pick: Arenado Over 1.5 Bases +115.
This was one of the sleepy bats that crush Left handed pitching. But he's red hot right now, hitting .414 and slugging 1.000 over his last 7 games. He's gone over 1.5 bases in 6 of his last 7 games. He also has a .462 batting average against Urias in 15 plate appearances. He has a career OPS of .988 vs Lefties compared to an .840 OPS vs Righties.
