8:15pm est: (BUF) Dalton Kincaid Over 24.5 Receiving Yards (2 Units)
Kincaid was one of the best Receiving Tight Ends in College Football last season. Buffalo selected him 25th overall and he's turned heads through training camp. He's a true mismatch piece and will come in handy against the Jets.
Josh Allen and the Bills really struggled to move the ball through the air against the Jets last season. Their passing offense runs through Stefon Diggs but Sauce Gardner of the Jets has shown he can take him away. Gabriel Davis is their number 2 but the Jets CB2, DJ Reed, is more then capable of covering him as well. The Jets elite pass rush also makes it difficult for long developing plays.
The one area the NYJ are lacking is at safety and LB outside of CJ Mosley. The weak Safeties and linebackers are generally tasked with covering the TE position. It's why the Jets were the 6th worst defense letting up an average of 61.1 yards per game to the tight end position in 2022. Dawson Knox is still TE1 over there but Kincaid will see plenty of snaps. And when they run two tight end sets it's going to be Knox that gets the Jets defense respect.
Kincaid gives the Bills the ability to attack the weakness of the Jets defense and he's a plus receiver for Tight End standards. With strong coverage on the outside, there will be quite a few opportunities for Kincaid to go over this yardage total.
