(2 Picks)

5:30PM EST: UNC/WVU Over 60.5 (4 Units)

The Opt-Outs have snatched the headlines of the Duke's Mayo bowl, but we like these offenses to produce. UNC lost QB Drake Maye, WR Dez Walker, C Corey Graynor, and 4 defensive starters, including their unquestioned leader and leading tackler Cedric Gray. WVU is without C Zach Frazier, DL Mike Lockhart, and S Hershey McLaurin.

UNC turns to Redshirt Freshman QB Conner Harrell. While there's no replacing Drake Maye's Arm, he does bring a rushing element that Maye couldn't. In HC Mack Brown's words "First of all, he’s a winner,” “He won big at the highest level of Alabama football. He’s really fast, he’s a natural runner, but he throws the deep ball really well.” North Carolina's averaged 30+ points per game every year since HC Mack Brown returned in 2019. That was well before Drake Maye stepped onto campus. They're going to have an effective gameplan and there's more than enough talent to execute it.

West Virginia's offense is largely intact for this one. RB CJ. Donaldson will miss this game, but Jahiem White fills in just fine. He had 6 less rushing yards than Donaldson on the season despite 74 less carries. Dual Threat QB Garrett Greene is suiting up as well. They've scored 34+ in 6 of their last 7 games. The 1 exception was a road game against Oklahoma.

Neither one of these defenses have been any good. WVU ranks 74th allowing 28.5 points per game and UNC ranks 78th at 28.9 PPG. West Virginia's last 2 games came against Baylor and Cincinnati, the bottom 2 teams in the Big 12. They gave up a combined 52 points. UNC without Drake Maye is still a much better offense than both of those teams. North Carolina has allowed 31+ points to each of their last 6 FBS opponents and now they're shorthanded.

8:00PM EST: (LOU) Isaac Guerendo Over 98.5 Rushing Yards (2 Units)

Cardinals starting RB Jahwar Jordan Opted-Out as he prepares for the NFL draft which leaves Guerendo in line for a lot of burn today. He had 109 carries for 649 yards (6.0 YPC) as RB2 this season. He has 208 carries for 1,231 yards (5.9 YPC) throughout his career. He's a quality back and he's playing in his final collegiate game. He's not going to come off the field unless he absolute has to.

Louisville will have starting QB Jack Plummer under center, but they will be without WR Jamari Thrash. It's a significant loss for their offense and they should look the lean on the ground game a bit more because of it. The starting 5 that helped pave the way for Jordan's 6.2 YPC and Guerendo's 6.0 YPC is fully intact.

The Trojans defense is bad, they're the 119th ranked scoring defense allowing 34.9 points per game. USC ranks 115th allowing 183.7 rushing yards per game and 105th allowing 4.8 yards per carry. They're also dealing with a plethora of transfers so this already poor USC defense will be even worse. Also have to question if USC really shows up today. It was an incredibly disappointing season and half their starters aren't even playing today.
