Gridiron Player Club NFL 4-5 Units (12/8/24)

NFL

4 Picks (16 Units).

1:00PM EST: Vikings -6 (3 Units).

Atlanta's really struggling offensively, scoring a combined 36 points in their last 3 games. Kirk Cousin's has struggled with turnovers and threw 4 interceptions at Home last week. WR Darnell Mooney has been banged up and it's clearly affecting this passing offense. Their last road game came at Denver a couple weeks back and they got blown out 6-38. Expect more of the same here. Minnesota boasts an elite defense, but their offense can also score. Atlanta's mistakes have left them playing catchup quite a bit this season and things get ugly when they do. Hard to see them correcting that on the road against the Vikings.

1:00PM EST: Buccs -6.5 (3 Units).

The Raiders have lost 3 of their last 4 games by double digits. They showed up to compete against their division rival Chiefs last week, but this team's showed very little fight. Tampa Bay's won their last 2 on the road, albeit against the Panthers and Giants. Carolina's playing much better football of late, but they steamrolled NY. Tampa's sitting at 6-6 with a shot for the playoffs. This game just means more and they're at Home against a Raiders defense that's given up 27 points or more in 7 of their last 10.

4:05PM EST: Cardinals -2.5 (5 Units).

Arizona just lost to Seattle 6-16 in Seattle a couple weeks ago. Kyler had a decent day, but a costly Pick 6 in Seattle territory was the difference maker. Arizona outgained Seattle slightly in that one. The week before that they lost 22-23 @ Minnesota. They outgained them 406-273 and still lost. They're 4-2 in their last 6 games with tough back-to-back road losses. Their defense has been incredible, and they could easily be on a 6-0 run with cleaner offensive performances. In their last 3 Home games the Cardinals held the Jets to 6, Bears to 9, and Chargers to 15. Defensive dominance should continue at Home here, and we like the offense to break through on the scoring woes. They scored 28 or more in each of the 3 games leading up to those 2 road losses so we’re not exactly asking for a miracle.

8:20PM EST: LAC/KC Under 53 (5 Units).

It's a Chilly Windy night at Arrowhead Stadium and these two combined for just 27 points in their first meeting in LA. The Chargers number one scoring defense had struggled against a pair of elite offensive teams, but they returned to form on the road in Atlanta last week. This isn't the same ole Chiefs offense of years past either. They're 15th in yards per game and 11th in points per game. They're solid numbers but far from elite. They were held to 19 by the Raiders at Home last week and to 16 by the Broncos the Home game before that. The Chiefs run the football and throw it quick. They can’t push the ball down the field like they used to. Some of it's on a lack of personnel but it's also due to poor play at Offensive Tackle.

The Chiefs defense has played extremely well this season and it's a big reason they're 11-1 despite the struggling offense. They’re especially stout against the run, ranking 2nd limiting teams to just 3.7 YPC. They held the Chargers to just 2.3 YPC in their first meeting and that was with a healthy JK Dobbins. Everything starts with the ground game for LA's offense, and they struggle without it. To make matters worser the Chargers top WR Ladd McConkey is listed as a GTD. He's dealing with a Knee and Shoulder injury and at the very least won't be 100% here.
