8:15PM: Jets +1.5 (3 Units), BUF/NYJ Under 41.5 (3 Units). The Jets fired Robert Saleh on Tuesday, naming DC Jeff Ulbrich as interim Head Coach. He's been the Jets Defensive Coordinator since 2021 and called plays his entire tenure. He's well respected within the NYJ locker room and he'll have this Jets team ready to play. This is still a team with expectations and if the Jets win this game, they're in 1st place in the AFC East. The Jets defense was never an issue and firing Saleh really doesn't change anything. The Jets have the 5th ranked scoring defense and are 2nd in yards allowed per game. The Vikings scored 23 against the Jets in London last week but Rodgers threw 3 picks, and one went for 6. It was Sam Darnold's and the Vikings offense worst game of the year. Jets still had a shot to win that game and probably should have.

The Bills offense has struggled on the road these last couple weeks and this is another tough match-up for them. Josh Allen's 25/59 (42.4%) for 311 yards and 1 touchdown the last 2 weeks. That was @ Houston and @ Baltimore. The Texans pass defense has been good but Baltimore's the 31st ranked Unit. He went 16/29 (55.2%) for 180 yards against the Ravens. The lack of a true #1 WR has been on full display. The Jets have one of if not the best secondarys in the league. Josh Allen and the Bills have failed to score more than 20 in 3 of his last 4 games against the Jets. Josh Allen and the Bills have also failed to score more than 18 points in 4 of his 5 games @ MetLife stadium.

The Jets’ problems have come on offense. Aaron Rodgers has not been the savior Jets fans hoped for. His buddy Nathanial Hackett's play-calling has been among the league’s worst. One of Ulbrich's first moves was handing play-calling duties to former Titans and Raiders offensive coordinator Todd Downing. It won't magically fix all their problems but it was a much-needed move. The Bills defense gave up 23 last week and 35 the week before that. They've had a lot of injuries on that side of the ball and while they're getting healthy, they're still down a key starter at all 3 levels. The Jets offense has shown flashes this year and doesn't lack talent. They should be able to find enough success on the Bills defense at Home in this one.
