Yes, John Harbaugh was the Pre-season Guru, but they went 1-2 last year with new OC Todd Monken. The mobile QB's they carried behind Lamar had a lot to do with that incredible run. The Veteran Josh Johnson will start this game for Baltimore but there's 2 Rookies behind him, 6th round pick Devin Leary and UDFA Emory Jones. They'll get good play from Johnson, but he's pretty much guaranteed the backup QB spot behind Lamar this year. With their starters and other key reserves sitting out, Johnson won't play too long as Baltimore needs him healthy.

Philly will send out their starters tonight but only for a series, maybe 2. The bulk of this game will be played by their 2's and 3's. They'll get to the bottom half of their roster later than Baltimore, specifically on the defensive side of the ball as that side of the Depth Chart is a lot less solidified. QB's Kenny Pickett and Tanner McKee are in a heated battle for backup QB duties. McKee was drafted by PHI last season, throwing 72 pass attempts in the 2023 pre-season and familiar with the offense. Pickett disappointed in Pittsburgh but he's started 24 NFL games. Then there's Will Grier IV. He brings some mobility and was the pre-season star for the Cowboys last year, throwing for 4 touchdowns and adding 2 more on the ground in his 3 games played.

Again, the 3 Philly QB's will be working against the bottom half of the Ravens defensive roster almost immediately. They had the number 1 scoring defense in 2023 and most of their defensive depth chart's set in stone. By the time the 2nd half hits they'll be plenty of guys on the field who won't even make their practice squad. Baltimore also lost their Defensive Coordinator. They hired from within, and they won’t change much philosophy wise but he is a first time play-caller.
