2 Picks (7 Units)
11AM: UCONN/UNC Under 53.5 (3 Units).
North Carolina fired head coach Mack Brown and their OC Left for Michigan. They're down multiple starting offensive lineman and one of the best RBs in the Country. North Carolina was a very run heavy team and they're down their 3 biggest pieces in the ground game. Connecticut is a defensive team that's limited teams to less than 4 yards per carry. North Carolina's defense wasn't great for ACC standards but UConn's a bump down in competition. The Huskies are mediocre numbers wise, and they have struggled offensively against Power 5 programs. Bill Belichick isn't coaching this Bowl Game for UNC but he's still in the building. It's great motivation for the defense to show up and compete. Belichick's looking for next year's starters.
3:30PM: Miami Team Total Over 30.5 (4 Units).
Miami's gone over this total in 11 of their 12 games and they're running it back with Cam Ward and the gang one last time. There are very few opt outs for the Hurricanes in this one and there's millions of reasons for these kids not to play. Testament to Cristobal's program. This game's also being played in Orlando, just a few hours away from Miami's campus. It will play closer to a home game for the Hurricanes, and we expect the fans to show up and support Ward one last time. Iowa State has a good pass defense but it's their secondary that's potentially opting out. They're also atrocious against the run, ranking 116th allowing 5.2 YPC. Miami's passing offense is all the rave but they're 12th nationally averaging 5.4 YPC. They're by all accounts the best offense in College Football and the Cyclones gave up 45 points to Arizona State in the Big 12 Championship. Miami's going to come out guns blazing and that won't stop even if Cam Ward gets pulled early. The Hurricanes are still looking for their QB for 2025 and Sophomore Emory Johnson's the in-house favorite.
