Gibbs had 17 carries for 80 yards last week with David Montgomery out with an injury. Montgomery is expected to suit up tonight but he's not 100%. They didn't draft Gibbs 12th overall to play second fiddle either. Montgomery's also the goal line and short yardage back. Gibbs plays when there's space to work with. With his explosiveness this can happen in 1 run. He gets a friendly match-up, GB is allowing 4.3 yards per attempt in 2023, ranking 18th. The Lions also have the best offensive line that GB has seen and it's not particularly close either. Fellow Rookie RB Bijan Robinson ran for 124 yards on 19 carries against this GB defense. In two games last year, DET RB Jamaal Williams ran for 72 and then 81 yards against Green Bay.
