The Denver Nuggets offense has had a ton of success against the Clippers lately. Over their last 8 head-to-head meetings Denver has scored 30+ and had 8+ assists 16 times. That's half of the 32 quarters. They averaged 120.75 Points per game vs the LAC during that span. Jamaal Murray is also banged up. He was injured against the Bulls on November 4th. He came back against the Rockets on Nov. 29th but reaggravated it and has been out since. Even if he suits up, he'll be limited. This puts more of a load on Jokic to create and he's done just that.
Excluding the Pistons game because Jokic only played 15 minutes, he's averaging 11.3 assists per game since Murray went down. That's over the course of 12 games. He's also been an assist machine the last few games, dishing out 14 @ SAC, 15 @ PHO, and 15 vs HOU. He's had 9 assists the last two times he's faced the Clippers but with the way he's currently playing, and Murray banged up, he should push past that tonight.
