Purdue is very strong offensively, especially at Home, but we like Michigan's chances to keep pace even if they can't slow them down. There's a major size disparity in this game as Purdue plays small and Michigan deploys two 7 Footers. Michigan's 21st in rebound rate and Purdue's 131st. Michigan's 3rd in 2-PT % and Purdue's 229th in opponent 2-PT %. Michigan's also 29th in opponent 3-PT % and that's where Purdue's most deadly at Home. The Boilermakers are going to get some quality looks from 3 because that's what they do but Michigan should be able to keep a lid on it. Michigan's done a better job with turnovers of late and that's now where Purdue excels defensively. If they can take care of the ball they should clean up on the glass and at the rim.

This one should turn into a track meet. Iowa's coming off a rough home loss after a poor offensive performance and this is an ideal bounce back spot. Penn State's 71st in defensive rating and 30th in Tempo. Iowa's 19th in offensive rating and 22nd in Tempo. Penn State's faced two other elite offensive teams on the road this year and gave up 90 to MSU and 91 to Illinois. Penn State is 41st in offensive rating but Iowa's 156th in defensive rating. Iowa's ranked 324th in opponent FG%. These two rank 4th and 11th in points per game and 3rd and 18th in FG %.
