Alabama just hasn't looked great in the early going. They're shooting well below expected from deep and struggled in all facets against Purdue their last time out. They made the Boilermakers offense look pristine and that turns out to be far from true. This game's technically a neutral site but it's being played in Alabama. The Tide will have the crowd, but they won't be shooting on their Home baskets and those shooting woes are more likely to continue because of it. Illinois wasn't overly impressive against a bad Oakland team in their last game but that's a look ahead spot and they still smoked their first 2 opponents. Illinois was one of the Nation’s top teams last seasons and have a ton of size. They were the 8th best rebounding team last year and likely finish top 10 again this year. They're currently ranked 9th in the early going. Rebounding's a facet Alabama's excelled and relied on in recent years but likely lose in that department tonight. Alabama's going to shoot plenty of 3's and if those struggles continue the Illini have a path to an upset.
