NCAAB
1 Pick (4 Units)
8:00PM EST: Yale +14.5 (4 Units).
Being an Ivy League team Yale doesn't get many transfers. They're an older team and all but 1 of their key contributors have been with them multiple years. Their head coach was hired in 1999 and has the 2nd most wins in Ivy League history. They finished last season ranked 90th per KenPom and 65th the year before that. They don't have the same caliber of athletes as Purdue but they're well coached and play quality basketball. Purdue's still adjusting to life without back-to-back NCAAB Player of the Year Zach Edey. He's currently off to a red-hot start in the NBA. It's a major adjustment and his rim protecting replacement is out for the time being. Texas A&M Corpus Christie and Northern Kentucky were able to hang around against Purdue and Yale would lay double digits to those squads. Going away from home to face one of the best teams in the Country isn't a new spot for Yale. They did it a few times last year, losing by exactly 15 at both Gonzaga and Kansas during the regular season and then upsetting Auburn in the NCAA Tournament. This is also a look-ahead spot at Purdue plays #2 Alabama on Friday Night.
