Didn't take Dusty May long to turn Michigan back around. They're 7-1 and ranked 16th per KenPom with the 5th best defensive rating. They've rolled off 3 straight road wins over Wisconsin, Xavier, and Virginia Tech. They're at Home for the first time in a couple weeks with a renewed hype in the program. This is a great spot for the Wolverines. Iowa had been a top team in the Big 10 for years but they've faltered the last couple seasons, finishing with 11-9 and 10-10 conference records. When it comes to quality opponents faced, they have a buzzer beater win over a subpar Northwestern team and a rather convincing loss to Utah State. Their strength of schedule ranks 322nd compared to Michigan's 120th. The Hawkeyes rank 18th in adjusted Tempo and that'll only help our case. Michigan's showed they can play with Tempo and their defense is light years better than Iowa's. The Wolverines are weaker offensively, but Iowa's defense isn't good enough to stop them. This will also be Iowa's first road game of the season and it's a brutal road spot.
