This one's all about Xavier's 3-PT Shooting. They're ranked 7th nationally knocking down 3's at a 43.4% clip in the early going. South Carolina's ranked 204th in opponent 3-PT % and were 176th last season. Xavier really hasn't been tested yet but South Carolina was smoked 71-87 against Indiana, the only real opponent they've played. Xavier isn't great defensively but SC's offense isn't great either. The Musketeers have been great on the defensive glass though. Don't see a path for the Gamecocks to keep pace if Xavier's hot perimeter shooting continues.
