Maryland's one of the most complete teams in College Basketball, ranking 20th and 24th in offensive and defensive ratings. They're also 39th in rebound rate and 27th in assist to turnover ratio. They're 6-4 in conference play but they've faced an early gauntlet. They've played at Purdue, at Oregon, at Washington, at Northwestern, at Illinois, and at Indiana. They have just one home loss on the season and it came back on November 11th against Marquette. They lost by 4 points, missing both free throws down 76-74 with a chance to tie with 14 seconds remaining. When the Terps turn in a good performance they've straight embarrassed teams. They beat Illinois by 21 on the road, beat UCLA by 18 at Home, and smoked Ohio State 83-59 at home. They're rolling hot, winning 5 of their last 6 and 2 straight on the road, including that massive win over Illinois. Playing at Home tonight for just the 2nd time in the last couple weeks with some renewed hype around the program, it's a good spot. The Badgers are all offense, but they have some major defensive issues, and Maryland can attack you every which way. Playing at Home we trust the Terps defense to slow down Wisconsin's high-powered offense enough to cover the number.
