Good spot as Texas tries to get even after a tough loss at A&M to open Conference play. The Longhorns have played solid Basketball at Home, beating Mizzu by 8 back on Tuesday. They've also hosted Tennessee and Auburn, losing by 5 and 4 points. Those are two of the best and most well rounded teams in College Basketball. A&M's having a good season against a tough schedule but they aren't on that Elite level. They play very good defense but their offense can go missing at times. They're 251st in FG%, 315th in 3-PT%, 294th in FT %, 237th in assists per game, and 200th in turnovers per game. The offensive issues are more apparent on the road. On the road in Conference play they came back to beat Ole Miss 63-62 after falling behind 60-52 with 3:49 left to go. Prior to that they lost by 12 at Kentucky and beat OU 80-78 on a game winning 3 point shot. They've found ways to win and that's a testament to a quality ball club but it's been ugly and that's hard to sustain. Texas will be as motivated as ever for this game and the Moody Center is going to be a madhouse today.
