The Timberwolves offense has been miserable, failing to score more than 109 points in any of their last 11 games. As such the Under has hit in 9 of those 11. Their defense has played fine and helped them win 6 of those 11 games. The Mavericks are one of the best offensive teams in the league but they're still 11th in defensive rating. They're also an average group in terms of pace. Dallas just played back-to-back games against a Clippers team that's eerily similar to Minnesota and both games went under. despite splitting. The LAC are 20th in ORtg, 5th in DRtg, and 22nd in possessions per game. MIN is 23rd, 6th, and 23rd in those same categories. The Public's also hammering this Over and the line continues to drop.

What better way to celebrate Christmas Day than beating up your division rival in the midst of a miserable season. The 76ers are 10-17 and part of that's due to the health of Joel Embiid but that's nothing new for them. He's also sporting career lows across the board in his limited 8 games played. Philly squeaked out a 111-106 win over the Spurs at Home their last time out but got smoked 99-126 in their most recent road trip. This will be their first meeting against the Celtics this year, but it's been all Boston in this head-to-head series of late. The Celtics are 5-1 SU in their last 6 vs PHI with an average margin of victory of 15.4. Boston's also coming off their 7th loss of the season. They followed up 5 of their previous 6 losses with Double Digit wins too. The public’s been enticed by the big number on Philly but this is a Boston spot all the way.
