Dallas stole one in OKC a little under a Month ago 119-117. OKC has since played just 2 Home games, one on November 20th and the other December 3rd. With that, this being the knockout round of the NBA cup, and a rematch of last year's semi-conference final, we love this spot for the Thunder. There will be plenty of energy in that building for the NBA's number 1 defense to feed off of. Their defensive rating ranks 1st at 103.3, 2.1 points higher than the 2nd ranked Rockets. The Mavericks are solid defensively themselves but they're 8th at 109.9. Dallas's offense is better than OKC's but it's not as significant a difference compared to the defenses. Again, playing at Home, this is a great spot. They blew out the Jazz 133-106 the last time they played at Home. OKC fans haven't seen a meaningful home game since they hosted these Mavericks on November 17th.
