At this point there's reason to believe the Nets are actively tanking as this season's a wash. They're 1-11 their last 12 and they aren't firing the HC they just brought in to fix things. Ben Simmons was a late scratch against Miami with an apparent back flare up. He's listed as questionable again with the same back issue. The Nets’ two leading scorers are both out. It's D'Angelo Russell and career backups for Brooklyn. The Kings defense is league average, but their offense is still elite and they're completely healthy. The Nets are 27th and 26th in offensive and defensive rating and that's with their two best players for the majority of the season. 7 of their last 11 losses have been by double digits and their best player just started missing games a week ago.
