6:09PM EST: ILL/UCONN Under 155.5 (3 Units).
Illinois's defense has shown they can show up and compete, but UConn should really dictate the flow of this game and Donovan Clingan will be a huge reason why. He's one of the best Rim Protectors in the game at 7'2 280 but we expect him to be a focal point of the Huskies offense today. Illinois doesn't have a true Center. Their tallest forwards are 6'10 and outside of Dainja who's 6'9, 270, Clingan has an absolute massive weight advantage on everyone. UConn is going to feed him the ball down low and force Illinois's hands defensively. UConn's 319th in Adjusted Tempo and while they can play fast, they don't when Cling Kong's on the floor. The Illini will have to navigate him around the rim on offense too and they don't have the Big 3-PT shooter to pull him away from the basket.
8:49PM EST: Alabama -3.5 (3 Units).
People riding Clemson's defense of late, but we're not sold. They held an overrated Arizona offense to 37.3% from the field in their 77-72 Win but the Wildcats were just ice cold from deep. AZ went 5/28 (17.9%) from 3 and it's not like they didn't see clean looks. A lot easier to defend the Rim when the other team's perimeter shots aren't falling. The Alabama offense is just on another level and just tore up a very good North Carolina defense. They can score in a variety of different ways and will exploit Clemson's transition defense that's among the worst in the Country. Alabama's defense has also held each of their Tournament opponents below their season average from the floor. Their defense isn't the reason for this play, but they've shown they can get stops. Don't think Clemson can keep pace with the Tide offense.
