Seton Hall's laid quite a few eggs on the road this season and this is a tough spot for them. Creighton's 8th in 3-PT Rate this year and while they've been hit or miss on the road, they shoot 38.1% from Deep at Home. They're 57th nationally shooting 36.2% on the year. The Pirates are solid defensively, but they struggle defending the perimeter. They're 150th defensively in Open 3-Rate, 109th in PPP defending Catch and Shoot 3's, and 94th in PPP defending Off the Dribble 3's. Creighton's 40th, 2nd, and 4th in those same categories. Seton Hall's also 321st in opponent 3-PT Rate.
The last time Creighton played at Home they blew the doors off UConn 85-66. They just went on the road and lost at St. John's. This is a good rebound spot. Ryan Kalkbrenner also had a field day against Seton Hall in their first meeting, scoring 28 points. Pick your poison if you're Seton Hall's defense. Creighton's defense ranks 22nd in Adj D on the season and the Pirates will struggle to score at times. They're just 293rd in 3-PT shooting and rely on driving to the basket and getting to the FT Lien. The Pirates will need an efficient day from the field, and they've shot just 42.7% on the road this year.
